Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club came into existence in the late 1980s when the renowned golfer Seve Ballesteros ventured into golf course design. Collaborating with Spanish architect Antonio García Garrido, he envisioned a challenging yet picturesque golf course in Costa del Sol. Construction began in 1989, and by 1991, the club was open for play. Covering roughly 60 hectares, the 18-hole course unfolds across rolling terrain, featuring natural elements like ravines, streams, and lakes. Ballesteros designed it to test golfers' skills while remaining accessible to players of all levels.
